PROEF NOTITIE :  Brilliant ruby-red color with tinges of brick red. Mature and elegant, its rich aromatic complexity is changing and subtle, revealing itself as the wine breathes. First toasted oak nuances and coconut giving way to tertiary aromas (animal hints, leather, damp earth). A sequence of spicy aromas but also red berries and dried raisins/fruits that stay in the after-taste, enlarging the aromatic sensations in the palate. Silky, rounded tannins and a complex, lingering finish. VINIFICATIE WIJNINFORMATIE:  Gran Reserva is only produced in exceptional vintages and sometimes very good vintages, when the wine can stand to a long ageing in oak and bottle. Variety 100% Tempranillo from our own vineyards in Rioja Alta.  Mainly limestone & clay soils.
